SWIM ADVISORY lifted FOR 27th Avenue in new smyrna beach

Daytona Beach — The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County has lifted a swim advisory for the 27th Avenue area of the beach in New Smyrna Beach. The advisory was issued Friday as a result of recent water sampling as part of the Healthy Beaches Program.

Additional ocean water samples were taken Saturday. The analysis received today show the water has returned to acceptable levels.
