SYNOPSIS:   Found Property – 600 Greenlawn Street #22.  While officers were investigating a disturbance, they located a firearm in the grass.  The gun was recovered and placed into evidence at the New Smyrna Beach Police Department.  Report taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest (Transient) – 101 Buenos Aires Street (Flagler Lot).  40 year old male, Henry Contois, placed under arrest for trespass after warning.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – Pioneer Trail/Quail Hollow Drive.  Single vehicle was struck by debris that fell out of the back of a passing truck.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash (Hit and Run) – N. Dixie Freeway/Louise Avenue.  Two vehicles, minor damage, no reported injuries, and no citations at this time, due to the at fault driver leaving the scene. Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Retail Theft – 727 Canal Street (AK Food Store).  A known male entered the store, stole several items, and immediately left the area.  Officer were unable to locate the male and a charging affidavit was completed.

SYNOPSIS:  Vandalism – 600 Greenlawn Street #22.  The victim advised that she returned home to find an unknown person had damaged her front door. The victim was able to provide a possible suspect, but no evidence.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 1012 Conrad Drive.  The victim advised that sometime overnight an unknown person stole three bicycles that were left in the driveway.  Ongoing investigation.
