SYNOPSIS: Felony Arrest – 1601 S. Atlantic Avenue (Islander Beach Resort).  A 41 year old male, Christopher Morgan, was placed under arrest for battery on a law enforcement officer.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Harassing Calls – 165 Club House Boulevard.  The reporting person advised a known male has been calling a texting her, even after being asked to stop.  The reporting person only wanted the police to make contact and ask the male to leave her alone.  A report was taken for documentation at this time.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – 440 Julia Street.  A 66 year old male, William Alderman, was placed under arrest for having an open warrant out of Volusia County for Assault with a deadly weapon.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Stop – N. Myrtle Avenue/Ronnoc Lane.  Officers conducted a traffic stop on an elderly female after she was observed driving recklessly.  The female was confused and unable to drive any further.  She received assistance getting home, and her vehicle was towed by rotation wrecker.  Report taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 2370 S.R. 44 (Verizon).  Report taken to document a male trying to open an account using what appeared to be a fake identification card.  The male left prior to police arriving on scene, and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 1200 S. Myrtle Avenue (New Smyrna Middle School).  A student was observed by a teacher making a threatening gesture with his hand to other students.  After further investigation, it was determined no crime was committed and a report was taken for documentation.
