someone spray painted graffiti on the back of the business. It is unknown when the crime occurred. The investigation is ongoing.

unknown male driving a pick-up truck struck her vehicle and fled the
scene. The male was located and Chad
Wood, male, 47 years old, was placed under arrest for Leaving the Scene of an
Accident. He was also found to be
involved in another hit and run vehicle accident, see below.

SYNOPSIS: Felony Arrest – Josephine St. / 10th St. – After
leaving the above mentioned accident, the same driver struck a person on a
motorcycle and fled the scene. Chad
Wood, male, 47 years old, was placed under arrest for DUI, DUI with Property
Damage and Personal Injury, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Leaving the Scene
of an Accident Involving Injury and Refusal to Submit to a Lawful Test. The rider who was struck sustain minor
injuries. Wood was taken to the jail
without incident.

SYNOPSIS: Mentally Ill Person – 1700 S. Dixie Frwy. (Circle-K) – Officers
made contact with a male acting erratic outside the business. After an investigation, the male was taken in
to protective custody under Baker Act Criteria.
He was transported to Halifax Hospital without incident.
