SYNOPSIS:   Trespassers – 1780 S.R. 44 (WaWa) – Officers responded for a male acting suspicious in the business.  The male was issued a trespass warning and left the business without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Vehicle Accident – Turnbull St. / Turnbull Bay Rd. – Two vehicles, minor damaged, no injuries, one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest (Transient) – 1708 S.R. 44 – The victim stated that an unknown male pushed her to the ground.  The male was located and after an investigation, Roy Rainge, male, 56 years old, was placed under arrest for Simple Battery.  He was taken to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS: Vandalism – 4178 S. Atlantic Av. (Dollar General) – The reporting person stated that someone spray painted graffiti on the back of the business.  It is unknown when the crime occurred.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest – 193 N. Causeway (Merk’s) – The victim stated an unknown male driving a pick-up truck struck her vehicle and fled the scene.  The male was located and Chad Wood, male, 47 years old, was placed under arrest for Leaving the Scene of an Accident.  He was also found to be involved in another hit and run vehicle accident, see below.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – Josephine St. / 10th St. – After leaving the above mentioned accident, the same driver struck a person on a motorcycle and fled the scene.  Chad Wood, male, 47 years old, was placed under arrest for DUI, DUI with Property Damage and Personal Injury, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Injury and Refusal to Submit to a Lawful Test.  The rider who was struck sustain minor injuries.  Wood was taken to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 1700 S. Dixie Frwy. (Circle-K) – Officers made contact with a male acting erratic outside the business.  After an investigation, the male was taken in to protective custody under Baker Act Criteria.  He was transported to Halifax Hospital without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Trespasser (Transient) – 1704 S. Dixie Frwy. (McDonald’s) – Officers responded for a male sitting in the parking lot refusing to leave.  The male was issued a trespass warning and left the scene without incident.  A report was completed for documentation.
