TIME OCCURRED:  1138   

SYNOPSIS:  Fraud – 3155 S.R. 44 (Walmart).   The victim advised that an unknown person stole her credit card from her purse in while in Port Orange and later fraudulently used it at Walmart.  The victim was able to provide a possible suspect.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – S.R. 44/Sugar Mill Drive.  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 1801 Sugartree Circle.  The reporting person advised that an unknown person stole a City of New Smyrna Beach cat trap sometime during the night.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 3100 Block of S.R. 44.  A male was observed making suicidal statements.  He was placed into protective custody (Baker Act) and transported to Halifax Medical Center without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Burglary (Vehicle) – 400 Bouchelle Drive.  The victim advised that an unknown person entered his unsecured vehicle while he was at a party in the complex and stole his handgun.  Ongoing investigation.
