Avenue. A female responded to the police
department to report her (transient) brother, missing. He was located shortly after the report by
the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

SYNOPSIS: Assist Agency – 1931 Jungle Road. Canine Officer Eichhorn responded to this location
to assist the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office with the apprehension of a male
with felony warrants. The male was
apprehended without incident.

SYNOPSIS: Hit and Run Traffic Crash – Yupon Street/ Ocean
Drive. A Uhaul truck was driving down
the street near this intersection and struck a low lying power line, causing it
to pull away from a residence. The
driver of the vehicle could not be located at the time of this report.

SYNOPSIS: Traffic Crash – Sams Street and Canal Street. A two vehicle traffic crash in a parking
lot. Minor damage, no injuries and no
citation was issued. Both vehicles were
removed by the drivers.

non-functional damage. Both were removed

SYNOPSIS: Battery
Complaint – 1100 North Dixie Freeway #4. Officers responded to this location in
reference to a disturbance. A female,
who was extremely intoxicated, reported that she was battered by a male, who
was also extremely intoxicated. The
female was transported to the hospital for injuries from a fall. She first advised that she did not want to
pursue criminal charges, however hours later, she changed her mind. Due to her intoxication level, a complaint
affidavit was completed and forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office.

lot as it was backing out. Limited
suspect information was obtained and minor damage was done to the victim vehicle.

Avenue. A male, Casanova Huthcinson,
03-01-1984, was taken into custody in reference to an out of state warrant for his
arrest. He was transported to the
Volusia County Branch Jail with no bond allowed.

SYNOPSIS: Narcotics Arrest – 414 Flagler Avenue. A male, Thomas Belmonte Jr, 01-15-84, was
causing a disturbance in the parking lot of this location. He was placed under arrest for disorderly
conduct and possession of under 20 grams of cannabis. He was transported to the Volusia County
Branch Jail.
