SYNOPSIS: Mentally Ill Person – 600 Block of N. Dixie Freeway.  A male was observed acting erratically and stating people were out to hurt him.  Due to his actions and mental state he was placed into protective custody (Baker Act) and transported to Stewart Marchman without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Trespass Warning – 1930 S.R. 44 (Publix).  A male was issued a trespass warning at the request of management.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 500 Block of Luna Bella Lane.  A single vehicle struck a large pile of rocks, minor damage, no injuries, and no citations issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 263 Minorca Beach Way #701.  The victim advised an unknown person stole a check from his checkbook within the week.  The victim was able to provide possible suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 517 Mill Run Drive.  A report was taken to document the reporting person purse advising her husband took her purse without her permission.  At this time no crime was committed, and the reporting person did not wish to pursue the matter.

SYNOPSIS:  Intoxicated Person – 2300 Block of S.R. 44.  A male was observed laying in a ditch next to the roadway extremely intoxicated.  The male was unable to care for himself and was placed into protective custody (Marchman Act).  He was transported to Advent Health New Smyrna without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 3181 S.R. 44 (McDonalds). Two vehicles, minor damage, minor injuries, and no citations issued.
