SYNOPSIS:   Trespasser – 684 Mary Av. (Pettis Park) – Officers made contact with a male causing a disturbance with others in the park.  He was issued a trespass warning and left the area without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 3155 S.R. 44 (Walmart) – The victim stated that she left her cell phone and wallet in the rest room by accident.  When she returned to get her things they were gone.  Information was collected and a report was completed.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Trespassers – 3401 S. Atlantic Av. (Chases on the Beach) – The reporting person stated that two males were causing a disturbance in the business.  The males were issued trespass warnings and left the area without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Sex Offender Contact – Wallace Rd. / S.R. 44 – An officer made contact with the owner of a disabled vehicle on the side of the road.  A computer checked revealed the owner was a Registered Sexual Offender.  A report was completed to document the contact.

SYNOPSIS:  Battery – 900 Block E. 2nd Av. – The victim stated that a known male choked her and damaged her clothing before leaving the scene.  After an investigation, charges were filed against Robert Cunniff, male, 31 years old, for Battery by Strangulation, Simple Battery and Vandalism.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 900 Block E. 2nd Av. – An officer made contact with a female who stated that she attempted to harm herself earlier in the day.  The female was taken in to protective custody under Baker Act Criteria.  She was taken to Halifax Hospital without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – S.R. 44 / Old Mission Rd. – An officer stopped a female for a bicycle violation and during a search of her person located Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia.  Micah Flaniken, female, 39 years old, was placed under arrest for possession of the contraband and transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 1300 Block S. Atlantic Av. – During a traffic stop, the passenger of the vehicle stated she was having suicidal thoughts.  She was taken in to protective custody under Baker Act Criteria and transported to Halifax Hospital without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Information – 4 N. Causeway (Causeway Marine) – The reporting person stated that an unknown male punched him and left the area.  The reporting party did not want to pursue criminal charges and only asked to have the incident documented.
