SYNOPSIS: Information – 2700 Block of Star Coral Lane.  Report taken to document a young child being left home alone while the mother went to the store for groceries.  No criminal charges at this time, and Department of Children and Families was notified.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest – 1417 S. Dixie Freeway (Dollar General).  A 38 year old male, Stephen Norman, was placed under arrest for retail theft.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Burglary (Construction Site) – 188 Venetian Palms Boulevard.  The victim advised sometime during the night an unknown person stole the garage door with mounts and motor from the residence that is currently under construction.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – Live Oak Street/Canal Street.  The victim advised an unknown person stole his secured bicycle while he was at work.  The bicycle was later recovered abandoned and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 1998 S.R.44 (Regional Shopping Plaza).  Two vehicles, minor damage, minor injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 704 Phyllis Avenue.  The victim advised she spent the night with a male she met online.  She woke up feeling strange, and believes intercourse may have occurred.  The Criminal Investigative Division responded to the scene and the investigation was turned over to them.

Causeway (NSB Boat Ramps) – An officer made contact with a male who had an active warrant for his arrest for Making False 911 Calls.  The warrant was confirmed and Christopher Potts, male, 50 years old, was placed under arrest.  He was taken to the jail without incident.
