To report animal complaints or concerns, please call Dispatch Services at (386) 424-2000. 

We provide animal services in the most effective, efficient, and courteous manner possible by professionally and proactively enforcing city ordinances and state statues relating to animals.

The following animal issues are handled by Animal Services: 

  • Animal abuse and neglect
  • Loose and nuisance animals
  • Injured animals
  • Animal bites and attacks
  • Abandoned pets

Does Animal Services respond to non-domesticated animal calls?

Yes, we respond to non-domesticated animal calls involving a bite or attack to a human or an animal, particularly those dealing with raccoons, bats, foxes, and other possible rabies carriers. Animal services does not respond to nuisance wildlife calls or remove trapped nuisance wildlife.
