About the Task Force

Formed in 2014, the Beachside Resident Task Force provides a structure for increased citizen participation in local government and builds cooperation and improved communication between citizens and City officials. The task force makes recommendations to the City Commission and city boards regarding beachside issues with City-wide implications and reports on concerns and interests of residents in the beachside neighborhoods.

Task force members serve two-year terms at the pleasure of the City Commission. Each appointee must reside east of the Indian River within City boundaries. City employees and members of other City advisory boards are not eligible to serve. One task force member will serve as a representative to the Neighborhood Council.

At its regular meeting on April 22 2012, the City Commission unanimously adopted Resolution No. 15-14, establishing the Beachside Resident Task Force.

The following residents were appointed to serve as members of the Beachside Resident Task Force.
