The Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board is composed of five members who serve two-year terms and must be residents of the City in an area defined by Volusia County Community Assistance as eligible for Community Development Block Grant funds.
The Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board is charged with making recommendations to the City Commission on:
the governance and applications for funding under the CDBG program;
establishing procedures for its operations;
serving in an advisory capacity on issues brought forth by the City Commission for its deliberation; and
performing such other assignments as requested by the City Commission or City Manager.
