Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board

Overview
The Board is comprised of five members appointed by the City Commission. They are residents of the City and reside in an area defined by Volusia County Community Assistance (map attached) to be eligible to be served by the Community Development Block Grants Funds.  The members of the CDBG Advisory Board will serve two year terms.

If you are interested in serving on this Board please complete an application and submit to the City Clerk's Office.

Responsibilities
The Board is charged with making recommendations to the City Commission on the governance and applications for funding under the CDBG Program; establishing procedures for its operations; serving in an advisory capacity on issues brought forth by the City Commission for its deliberation and recommendation; and performing such other duties and assignments as requested by the City Commission or City Manager.
