Police Pension Board

Overview
The Board is composed of five members, two of whom must be residents of the City and appointed by the City Commission and two of whom must be police officers who are elected by a majority of the active police officers who are members of the plan. The fifth member must be chosen by a majority of the previous four members and his/her name shall be submitted to the City Commission. Police Pension Board members serve two-year terms.

Responsibilities
The Board is solely responsible for administering the police retirement trust fund.
