Overview
The Board is composed of five members who must be registered voters in the City. No member may serve more than two consecutive terms unless waived by the City Commission. The Personnel Board members serve three-year terms.
Responsibilities
The Board advises the City Manager and City Commission on matters of personnel policy, represents the public interest in the improvement of personnel administration, and holds and conducts hearings involving appeals of disciplinary action against employees.
